this album is my study of my favorite piano players. I sampled Bill Evans, Ahmad Jamal, and McCoy Tyner. Katrina Kope is improvising lyrics over my improvised playing of these samples. The hope is that we refine these tunes over time and create new songs inspired from spontaneous playing.
